Rule 196. Support of widow and children

Upon filing the inventory and appraisement, or thereafter, the executor or administrator shall present to the judge or commissioner such an order as may be appropriate for the support of the widow or minor children of the deceased pursuant to the prayer of the original petition for probate or administration. The use and occupation of property, or the expenditure of money, or both, will be authorized in proper cases. Interested parties may be required to appear before the judge or commissioner whenever such procedure seems necessary.--Added Dec. 17, 1976.
