Rule 42. Fixing dates for trial

The presiding judge shall fix the dates for the trial of contested actions at the various places for holding court; shall direct the clerk for the appropriate judicial division to assign contested cases to such trial dates; and generally regulate the calendar practice of the court.--Amended May 27, 1965.
