Rule 108. Supervision in support cases
When the court has entered an order for support, it may order the defendant to be placed under the supervision of the probation officer to insure the carrying out of the terms of the order for support. Upon the probation officer reporting to the court that the defendant has failed to comply with the order for support, the court shall forthwith summon the defendant and order him to file a cash performance bond, or give him notice returnable on a short day, that he may be held in contempt of court for failure to comply with the order for support.
