Rule 113. Bail before sentence

Before sentence, an adult person arrested and charged with any offense which may be tried by the family division of the court, may be admitted to bail by the judge; before appearance and in the absence of such judge, he may be admitted to bail by the clerk of the court; and before appearance and in the absence of such judge and clerk, he may be admitted to bail by the chief of police or other police officer in charge of the police station.--Amended Oct. 14, 1994, eff. Explanatory Notes

Change of name of juvenile and domestic relations division. Act Sept. 24, 1983, No. 4855, ' 1, Sess. L. 1983, p. 138, repealed former Chapter 11 of Title 4 of the Virgin Islands Code, which established the juvenile and domestic relations division, and added a new Chapter 11, relating to the family division.
