
Rule 125. Arraignment
Arraignment shall be conducted in open court and, unless waived by the defendant, shall consist of reading the complaint to the defendant or stating to him the substance of the charge and calling on him to plead thereto. Where the defendant has not been served with a copy of the complaint, the judge shall give him the complaint for the purpose of examining and reading it before he is called upon to plead.
